A professional collaboration platform. People post collaborations they want to build, others apply or are invited to contribute, and the work happens in a shared workspace with defined roles and expectations.

No. Plenty of people join to contribute to something already taking shape. You can browse collaborations, apply to the ones that fit your skills, and never create one of your own.

You complete your profile: skills, professional background and what you are interested in building. That profile is what creators see when you apply, so it is worth the ten minutes.

Applications are evaluated on your profile. An empty one gives a creator nothing to go on, so the app asks you to complete it before you start applying.

Yes, on iOS and Android. The links are in the footer of every page on this site.

Your Professional Profile is what you write about yourself: skills, experience, interests. Your Trust Profile is the publicly visible credibility layer shaped by your activity and collaboration history. The Trust Center is the private place where you manage verification and privacy settings.

From what you actually do on the platform: verification status, the collaborations you take part in, and how they conclude. You do not edit it directly, which is the point of it being separate from your profile.

An identity check using a government ID (a driving licence, ID card or NIN) together with a selfie. It confirms you are a real, single person, which is what makes the rest of the trust layer mean anything.

Other members can see your professional profile and Trust Profile. Documents you submit for verification are not shown to anyone else. They exist for the review and nothing else.

A piece of work several people are doing together, described up front: what it is for, the roles it needs, the skills involved, and how long it is expected to run.

Six purposes: a project, a product, a business, research, an initiative or content. You pick one when you create it, and it tells people what kind of thing they are joining.

A role is a position on the collaboration, say backend developer. Slots are how many people that role needs. When the slots are filled, that role stops accepting applications.

Chat, files, tasks and milestones, plus the collaboration overview and the team list. It is where the work happens after everyone has agreed to take part.

It is marked complete and becomes part of the collaboration history on the profiles of everyone involved. That record is what your Trust Profile is built from.

Raise it in the app. Reports and disputes attach to the collaboration itself, so whoever reviews it can see the same record both sides are describing.

Open the collaboration, pick the role that fits, and apply. Some ask screening questions, and some require a CV or a portfolio link. The requirements are listed before you start.

Short questions the creator sets, answered as part of your application. They exist so a creator can tell a considered application from a copy-pasted one.

The date after which the collaboration stops accepting applications for its open roles. Applying earlier is generally better, since slots fill as people are accepted.

A creator can invite someone directly to a role rather than waiting for applications. An invitation can be accepted or declined, and it expires if left alone.

Yes to both. Leaving something you have already committed to is visible in your collaboration history, so it is better to be honest early than to go quiet later.

Explorer covers a professional profile, exploring collaborations, discovering opportunities and applying to them. Creating your own collaborations is a paid feature.

Creator adds creating collaborations, inviting collaborators, advanced search and the workspace. Pro adds more advanced tools, greater visibility and additional Trust features. The current list is on the pricing section of the homepage.

Teams is for organizations that need a shared workspace, admin controls and custom requirements. It is arranged directly rather than bought from the app. Contact us and we will work out what you need.

From your account settings in the app. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, the subscription is managed there too.

Use the report option on the profile, collaboration or question itself. Reporting in place attaches the report to the record, which makes it far easier to act on.

It goes to moderation for review against our terms. Reports involving safety are handled first.

From your account settings, or by emailing support@urbantrust.io. Deletion removes your profile from the platform; message us if you need to know exactly what is retained and why.
