About UrbanTrust

Professional networks help you meet people. We wanted one that helps you build something.

UrbanTrust is a professional collaboration platform. It exists so that an idea, a useful skill and the right group of people can find each other and turn into actual work.

Why it exists

Most professional platforms end at the introduction. You find someone interesting, you send a message, and then both of you have to invent the structure for whatever comes next: who does what, what “done” looks like, what happens if it stalls.

A lot of good collaborations die in that gap, and not for lack of talent or goodwill. They die because nobody agreed what they were actually doing together.

UrbanTrust puts that structure in the product. A collaboration has a purpose, roles with a set number of open positions, the skills it needs, and a workspace where the work happens, so the agreement is explicit from the first day rather than assembled from memory later.

What we believe

Trust is earned through work, not claimed in a bio.

Anyone can describe themselves well. Your Trust Profile is shaped by what you have actually done here: the collaborations you joined, finished and were part of.

Structure is a form of respect.

Clear purposes, defined roles and stated expectations protect everyone’s time. They matter most to the people contributing without a contract to fall back on.

Contribution counts at every stage.

A student, a freelancer and a founder can all be useful to the same collaboration. The platform should not act as though only one of them is real.

A connection is only worth making if it goes somewhere.

The goal isn’t simply to make a connection. It’s to make the connection useful.

What UrbanTrust is not

It is not a job board. Employment is one way people work together, but it is not the shape most collaboration takes, and building the product around vacancies would have excluded almost everything interesting.

It is not a CV network either. Your professional history matters here mainly as evidence of what you can contribute, which is why your Trust Profile is separate from the profile you write about yourself.

How it works

Discover what people are building, connect with the ones whose skills complement yours, collaborate through a structured workspace with defined roles and expectations, and build a record of what you contributed. That sequence is laid out on the homepage, and the guides walk through each part in detail.

Who is behind it

UrbanTrust is built and operated by UrbanTrust Global Limited. If you need to reach us about anything on this site, the routes are on the contact page.

Where we are now

UrbanTrust is early. Features are shipping steadily and the product will keep changing as people use it. We would rather say that plainly than dress it up. There are no user numbers on this site because there is no number yet that would tell you anything true.

What changes will be written up on the updates page.
